Dr Krishnan Rajkumar is the regular attending GP doctor. He is also supported by Locums on a rotational roster.   All doctors are committed to providing excellent primary health care services for the community as well as emergency and inpatient services through the Mount Morgan Hospital.

This practice is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal health information. Your medical record is a confidential document and is the practice policy to maintain security of your health records at all times in accordance with the Privacy Act 1998.


Home visits are available for patients who are unable to travel to the practice due to ill health and are provided at the discretion of the doctor. If you need a home visit please discuss with the reception staff.


Appointments are made at 15 minute intervals. If you feel you need more time with the Doctor, please let our reception staff know when making your appointment. Longer consultations may be required for: Procedures (excisions, sunspot removals etc.), Multiple or Complex concerns, Completion of forms or Mental Health Issues and counselling sessions.


QML (Queensland Medical Laboratories) pathology offer a specimen collection service in Mount Morgan between the hours of 8:00 am – 11:00 am. Pathology collection is a bulk billed service. Urgent tests will be taken by the reception or nurse on staff. Please indicate to reception what type pf tests you need if you want the staff to make a booking for you (normal or fasting blood test).


If you require medical care outside of the normal practice hours or the practice happens to be closed due to unforeseen circumstances, please call Mount Morgan Hospital on 4912 5100. In an Emergency call 000.


The practice works closely with both public and private specialist services and can arrange referrals or consultations using tele-health to reduce the need for patients to travel. The practice is also working towards visiting specialist services.


Appointments need to be scheduled at the practice with the doctor to discuss / obtain your results (pathology, ultrasounds/x-rays and specialist report). Reception staff cannot discuss specific results with you.

Please take your ultrasound/x-ray with you when you leave the practice. You may need these for future appointments with other doctors / specialist to help with your health care.



Mount Morgan Medical is now signing up Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander patients for the Indigenous Health Incentive and Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme co-payment measure. This will provide better management for your Chronic Disease or Chronic Disease Risk Factors.
